2024 Books & Music
'Tis the season for year-end lists! I enjoy seeing everyone's yearly recaps and sharing my own each December, so let's get right into it!
I set a goal for 2024 to read 12 books, and I’m happy to say I met that goal. This list includes my usual mix of physical copies, ebooks, and audiobooks:
- A Place of My Own - Michael Pollan
- Die With Zero - Bill Perkins
- For You - Patrick Rhone
- Ghost Rider - Neal Peart
- Inspired - Marty Cagan
- Let Earth Receive Her King - Alistair Begg
- My Effin' Life - Geddy Lee
- The 5 Love Languages - Gary Chapman
- The Narrow Path - Rich Villodas
- The Year of Less - Cait Flanders
- Watership Down - Richard Adams
- Where the Crawdads Sing - Delia Owens
As always, these are in addition to my daily Bible reading. For the second year in a row, I followed the M'Cheyne reading plan for my personal devotions, and I continue to find it to be a well-balanced reading system with a realistic time commitment. I plan to use it once again in 2025. The M’Cheyne plan is widely available online, and I encourage you to check it out if you are looking for a daily Bible reading system.
My top songs playlist from Spotify is pretty representative this year, as always. Here are a few groups of artists that were meaningful to my listening in 2024:

As 2024 ends, I'm grateful to everyone who took the time to read and engage with this blog. It was a quiet year here, but I’m excited to change that in 2025! Thanks for visiting my tiny online home.
